Park Avenue Medical was founded in 2012 by Dr. Anace Said and Nada Shaarbaf. Their goal was to create a medical practice where Wallingford patients could experience world-class care close to home, where it matters. The office grew over the years, becoming the full team of expert clinicians it is today. We look forward to working with you to achieve your health goals!
I graduated from Baghdad School of Medicine, and I’ve been practicing for 26 years as an internist. I moved to NYC in 1997, where I completed my training before moving to Connecticut. We founded Park Avenue Medical in 2012 to bring quality care to the people of Wallingford, and I’ve loved every minute since! In my free time, I like watching movies with my family and biking. I look forward to treating you!
I went to Al-Mustansiriya School of Medicine in Baghdad, and I obtained a masters in public health in 2008. When we founded Park Avenue Medical in 2012, we wanted to bring the Park Avenue experience close to home, where it matters. I love working with the Park Avenue Medical team to help our patients achieve their health goals. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and travelling!
I've been working as a medical assistant since 2012, and I started working at Park Avenue Medical in 2015. I absolutely love working for our office because it’s more then just a job that I come to every day. We really are one big family and we make sure that even our patients feel that way. I couldn’t picture myself working in any other office!
I have been a nurse for 25 years, and I earned my Master's Degree as a family nurse practitioner in 2015. I began at Park Avenue Medical as a nurse practitioner student and never left! When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and curling up with a good book!
I spent many years working at several different jobs. My only wish is that I found this job earlier in my life. Dr Said is the type of Doctor that is very caring and devoted to his patients as well as his staff. He has picked out a variety of devoted and educated APRN to make sure his quality of care is maintained. I have never had a job that I look forward to going to everyday. We are a team but more than that they are my work family.
I have been a nurse for 21 years. I graduated from CCSU with my BSN and I work there currently part-time as a nursing clinical instructor. I obtained my MSN as a family nurse practitioner at Chamberlain College of Nursing. I came to work at Park Avenue Medical in 2018 because Dr. Said and the staff are caring and compassionate, and I feel like I really make a positive difference in the lives of patients. During my free time, I like gardening, outdoor activities, and spending time with my family!
I graduated from UConn with a degree in health, culture and society and from QU with a bachelor's degree in nursing. In 2019, I graduated from Georgetown University’s family nurse practitioner program. I did my first clinical rotation here, and the level of caring and clinical excellence struck me immediately. The staff has become my second family, and I genuinely look forward to coming to work. I enjoy reading, traveling, attending concerts/shows, and spending time with my family and pets!
I am a medical assistant, and before that, I was a stay at home mom for 8 years before I decided to go back to school. When it was time for me to go out on externship, I was placed at Park Avenue Medical and everyone made me feel so comfortable! Shortly after, I was offered a job and have been there ever since. I consider everyone there my second family!
I went to the University of Hartford where I obtained my bachelor's of health science, and I later obtained my bachelor's in nursing from MCPHS University. I have been an RN since 2015 with experience in many different areas within acute care. I am currently working to achieve my masters degree as a family nurse practitioner from Herzing University. When I'm not at work I enjoy going for a hike with my family and being with my two rescue dogs!
